Hello!
I am Oindrila, a PhD Candidate in the Electrical and Systems Engineering Department at Washington University in St.Louis, Missouri. I work in the Adaptive Integrated Microsystems Lab, advised by Professor Shantanu Chakrabartty. Prior to joining WashU, I did my Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University in India, where I worked on applying computer vision, machine learning and signal processing techniques for developing a novel biometric authentication system.
My current research interests lie at the intersection of optimization, machine learning, dynamical systems and analog computing theory. My dissertation focuses on developing novel nature-inspired computing algorithms that exploit general physical constraints and conservation laws for solving a wide range of optimization problems arising in various machine learning and signal processing applications.
